CDC Designs is a model home company based in Costa Mesa, California. Our company designed the model homes for a various builders in order to sell housing developments.

As a designer I worked closely with architects to collect, polish, and approve initial interior plans. Before handing off designs to builders, I ensured demographic preferences were considered and prioritized for optimal success. By combing through details, I identified opportunities for additional wow-factors. I fine-tuned and improved kitchen layouts, fine-tuned master suites and window placements. Once the agreed interior design was determined, I identified the optimal sizes of furnishings and layouts to best fill the space, streamlining the selection process. Additionally, I designed lighting plans, decorative soffits, wall paneling, art placement, flooring transitions, and millwork. I helped liaise with builders, presented design packages, and ensured any redesigns moved through the appropriate steps to ensure success.
